MRI Technologist

Are you an experienced MRI Technologist looking to advance your career and make a meaningful difference in patient care? Delaney Radiology is seeking a dedicated, full-time MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, position patients to capture high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout each procedure. You will adhere to strict safety protocols and collaborate closely with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding results.

This is a full-time position with required rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Screen patients for MRI contraindications and review clinical history prior to scanning.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and ACR accreditation guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ongoing protocol development.

Position Requirements:

• Be a graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Registered through the ARRT in MRI
• Possess and maintain BLS certification
• Have three years of clinical experience
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
• Be available to work a minimum of two Saturdays a month.
