  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop, implement, and track a PM program to minimize unplanned downtime across all departments.

2. Facility Management

  • Building Systems: Oversee the upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and compressed air systems.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage outside contractors for specialized repairs, fire inspections, and facility upgrades.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure quick turnaround on repairs.

3. Leadership & Safety

  • Operational Oversight: Serve as the technical lead for maintenance, coordinating work orders and prioritizing tasks based on production needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all equipment and facility practices meet OSHA standards and local building codes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve machine uptime, reduce energy costs, and enhance workstation ergonomics.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Technical Proficiency:* Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting skills (480V/3-phase preferred).
    • Familiarity with laser cutting technology and powder coat lines is highly preferred.
  • Facilities Knowledge: Proven experience managing general building maintenance and working with external trades/vendors.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand/walk for extended periods in a controlled environment.
