Hours: 60–70 per week (OT paid)Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off (Sundays optional)Per Diem: $50/day when traveling out of townTravel: Up to 75%Pay: $32–$35/hr (Non‑Exempt)Position OverviewThe Field Technician Foreman is a hands‑on working leader responsible for overseeing field crews and performing mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks on customer and project sites. This role ensures safe, high‑quality installation, maintenance, and repair work while representing the company professionally onsite.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG/MIG welding, brazing, and metal fabrication.
- Lead and coordinate field crews on installation, service, and maintenance projects.
- Install and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems (conduit, wiring, sensors, switches).
- Read and execute piping, mechanical, and electrical schematics.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company/OSHA safety procedures.
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
- Troubleshoot field issues and resolve technical problems.
- Allocate tools, materials, and equipment for field tasks.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Complete documentation, timesheets, and service reports.
- Assist with shop fabrication when field work is limited.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
- 4–8 years of industrial field installation, service, or fabrication experience.
- TIG/MIG welding and brazing skills preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Field‑based with frequent travel to customer sites.
- Exposure to heat, cold, noise, and industrial hazards.
- Required PPE for welding and field safety.
- Long hours required (60–70 hrs/week) with rotating schedule.
