CNC Machinist / Mazatrol

CNC Machinist (Mazak)

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC machinist with Mazak Mazatrol experience. This is a 2nd shift position – Monday thru Thursday 4:00 P.M.-2:00 A.M. (tentatively) with occasional Friday overtime. The machinist will set up, program and machine a variety of parts to print tolerances. Most jobs are low volume (1-10 pieces) with occasional production runs.

Responsibilities:

· Setup, program and operate a Mazak lathe/mill

· Use of additional shop tools/machinery as needed

· Follow company inspection procedures and run parts thru the full inspection process (first article inspections for each operation, 10% and random)

· Adjust speeds and feeds to maximize efficiency

· Work with a variety of materials ranging from plastics, brass, bronze, aluminum, steel, alloys, tool steels and stainless.

· Team oriented and willing to learn new skills

· Experience with live tooling is a plus

Qualifications:

· Experience: Minimum 4 years or 2 year degree.

· A good understanding of Geometric Dimension & Tolerance

· Must be able to read blueprints

· Must be able to work with both standard and metric dimensions and tolerances
