 About the Role: What School Psychologists Do Here

This Yuma district is looking for a School Psychologist who enjoys being part of a collaborative, student‑focused team. You’ll play a key role in supporting academic, social, and emotional growth across the district. Expect a mix of assessment, consultation, and direct support — all within a school culture that values communication, teamwork, and student-centered decision-making.

Your work will include:

  • Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Participating in IEP meetings and eligibility decisions

  • Supporting MTSS/RTI frameworks

  • Consulting with teachers, families, and administrators

  • Providing counseling or behavioral support as needed

  • Helping create a positive, inclusive school climate
