Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solderer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling and connecting electrical components for lighting products using soldering techniques. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform soldering of wires, circuit boards, and small electrical components
- Assemble lighting fixtures and components according to specifications and diagrams
- Read and follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Inspect solder joints to ensure quality, strength, and proper conductivity
- Repair or rework defective products as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Meet production quotas while maintaining high-quality standards
- Report equipment issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous soldering or electronics assembly experience preferred
- Ability to work with small parts and fine detail
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics (preferred)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
