Full Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Lead Framer – Roof Jig for a modular home manufacturer in Cuero, TX. This position works in a structured, indoor production environment building residential structures year-round — no weather delays or rain-outs.

This role requires a skilled framer who can read blueprints, understand structural building components, and lead framing operations in a fast-paced factory-style setting.

Essential Functions

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Lead roof jig framing and structural assembly
• Construct and assemble roof systems and framing components
• Ensure proper measurements, alignment, and structural integrity
• Oversee and assist crew members as needed
• Maintain safety and quality standards
• Operate power tools and framing equipment efficiently

Skills & Competencies

• Strong blueprint reading ability
• Knowledge of structural framing methods
• Experience with roof jig setup and production framing
• Leadership and team coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years of framing experience
• Proven blueprint reading experience
• Structural building knowledge

Preferred:
• Lead or supervisory experience
• Experience in modular, residential, or production framing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, climb, and work with tools regularly
