Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. Beginning September 1st, you'll work full time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, making a positive impact each day.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs for a caseload of 70-80 students across 10 classrooms. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and complete all required re-evaluations, playing a vital part in the continuity of special education services and student success.
To excel in this position, ideal candidates will possess:
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with K-12 students
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive re-evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of state and federal educational guidelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to diverse student needs
Your daily work will include:
- Managing re-evaluations for assigned students
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Providing consultative support to teachers, staff, and families
- Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as required
