This full-time role (32.5 hours per week) places you in a supportive special education classroom where collaboration is valued. You’ll provide both 1:1 assistance and small group instructional support to students with autism, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or direct instructional support role preferred
• Experience working with K-8 students, especially those with special needs
• Ability to provide positive behavioral and academic assistance
• Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting children
• Ability to follow teacher and specialist directions to deliver effective assistance

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students in special education settings, providing individualized support as well as assisting small groups
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment for students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
• Assist classroom teachers with academic instruction, modifications, and classroom management strategies
• Adapt to students’ daily needs, supporting them both emotionally and academically
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress as required
