School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with a school district to support their students for the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join a collaborative team across multiple school locations in Manassas, VA. 

About the Role:
This position is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with speech and language needs in a school-based setting. You’ll work closely with supervising SLPs and school staff to help students build communication skills and confidence throughout the school year.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services
• Support implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans
• Work with students in individual and small group settings
• Help track student progress and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Virginia SLPA license required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Communication Disorders, or related field
• Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• End Date: June 12, 2027
• Schedule: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
• Locations: Multiple school sites
