K through 12th Special Education Teachers - Open to travel candidates

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to support students in school-based settings in Bennettsville, SC. This role involves working with students across a variety of grade levels and abilities, providing individualized instruction, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Provide direct instruction tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Modify curriculum and classroom environment to support diverse learners
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
