Lead Construction Representative

RequirementsandResponsibilities

Schedules all site, surveys, inspections and reviews inspection reports to ensure adherence to project specifications.

Responsibilities also include:

1. assisting field operations,
2. approving expenses,
3. approval if overtime claims,
4. and preparing summary reports.

Coordinates subcontractor scheduling and resolve day to day issues.

Directly supervises workers on construction or installation projects.

Ensures work conforms to standards, plans, and schedules and that all safety policies and procedures are enforced.

Monitors the productivity of workers and the quality of work performed.

Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.

In addition, may produce daily time and labor reports.

Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.

Education:

• Typically requires a high school diploma.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• Typically reports to the Construction Program Manager.

Experience:

• Typicallyrequires5yearsexperienceintherelatedareaasanindividualcontributor.
• 1to3 yearssupervisoryexperiencerequired.

• Knowledge of the function and department processes.
