Home Health Controller Payroll & Billing

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to oversee our core financial operations, including payroll, billing, and accounting functions, while working directly with executive leadership.

This is a high-impact role supporting the CEO and leadership team, focused on ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance across a growing, multi-state home health organization.

We are looking for someone who can own the numbers, improve processes, and bring structure to a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Manage and support billing and revenue cycle processes
• Supervise AP/AR functions and accounting workflows
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts
• Partner directly with the CEO on financial strategy and decision-making
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial performance
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, Medicare, and regulatory requirements
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Support audits and maintain internal controls
• Collaborate with HR, operations, and regional teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior-level finance professional
• Background in healthcare or home health (strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of payroll, billing, and financial reporting
• Experience working in a multi-location or multi-state environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate independently and handle sensitive information
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with leadership
