CNC Lathe Machinist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Lathe Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
· Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
· Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
· Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
· Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met.
· Maintain proper machine function through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling and identification.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve machining issues.
· Accurately document production data, inspections, and any deviations from standards.
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Flexibility to work swing shift, including overtime as needed.
