Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mill and Lathe Machinist with strong programming and setup capabilities. This position requires a self-sufficient machinist who can program, set up, and operate CNC equipment while maintaining high precision and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Utilize CAM software to generate and modify programs
• Perform in-process and final inspections using CMM equipment
• Make tooling adjustments and offsets as needed
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety and shop procedures

Required Qualifications

• CNC programming and setup experience (required)
• CAM software experience (required)
• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience (required)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced machine shop environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating both CNC mills and lathes
• Experience with Mazak CNC machines
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
