Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to join our team. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities under OT supervision
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Active New York State OTA/COTA license
• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Nursing home, rehab, or home care experience preferred
