Foundation Foreman
$35–$40/hr | Direct Hire | 50%+ Travel
WorkSolved Staffing is hiring a Foundation Foreman for a well-established local concrete company. This is a direct-hire position with consistent, year-round work and strong growth potential.
Job DescriptionThe Foundation Foreman will lead a crew of 3–5 employees on agricultural and commercial concrete foundation projects throughout Michigan. This is a hands-on working foreman role responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and crew leadership in the field.
Responsibilities- Lead and work alongside a concrete foundation crew
- Perform daily safety, quality, and production checks
- Read and interpret blueprints; perform layout
- Supervise footing forms, wall forms (Symons), and bolt templates
- Lead concrete pours and coordinate deliveries and pumps
- Maintain jobsite safety and enforce PPE requirements
- Keep crew productive, organized, and on schedule
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needs
- Complete timekeeping and communicate with management
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- 5+ years of concrete construction experience (foundations preferred)
- 4+ years in a foreman or lead role
- Experience with Symons form systems
- Ability to read plans and direct concrete placement
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL A or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- OSHA and First Aid certifications a plus
- $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)
