Industrial Mechanic

Now Hiring: Mechanics – Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Shifts Available: Pay Rate: $26.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE) Locations:

• East Hanover, NJ
• Whippany, NJ

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery and warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of all production lines.
• Assist with equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers according to manufacturing requirements.
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate tools, machines, and mechanical components following company SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately, including repairs, part replacements, and preventive maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production, packaging, or warehouse departments.
• Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by following FDA, OSHA, and GMP regulatory standards.
• Maintain an organized work area and support overall facility cleanliness and safety practices.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to resolve mechanical problems quickly.

Requirements:

• Background check and drug test may be required.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced, GMPregulated facility.
• Must be able to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and follow mechanical diagrams.
• Noise levels may range from moderate to high.
