1st Class Outside Machinist

Location: Lockport, LA

We are seeking a skilled Outside Machinist to perform field machining and repair work at job sites. The ideal candidate can operate portable machining equipment, read blueprints, and work safely and independently in outdoor environments.

• Perform field machining, fitting, and repairs
• Set up and operate portable machining equipment
• Read blueprints and verify measurements
• Inspect work to meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Follow all safety and job-site procedures

• Experience as an outside or field machinist
• Knowledge of portable machining equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Basic troubleshooting or mechanical repair skills
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors
