Electrical Engineer

• Design and develop electrical distribution systems.
• Perform and coordinate power system studies, including:
• Load flow
• Voltage drop
• Short circuit analysis
• Lighting calculations
• Ensure installation and operations align with project specifications, codes, and customer standards.
• Prepare electrical system specifications and technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Develop circuit designs, electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, conduit layouts, and equipment schedules.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design files, submittals, and O&M manuals.
• Prepare engineering reports and compile data for both existing and proposed projects.
• Lead engineering projects and guide project teams as required.
• Interface directly with clients to scope work, manage deliverables, and support proposal development.
• Provide technical input to marketing and business development efforts when needed.
• Perform additional engineering-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. If not currently licensed in Texas, ability to obtain licensure within 36 months of employment.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in an industrial plant, engineering firm, or consulting environment.
• Experience with 480V, 5kV, and 15kV systems preferred.
• High to Medium-voltage MCC controls design experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, API, and ICC.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
• Experience with relay programming (SEL) preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and technical documentation skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and training engineers and project team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
