CNC SET UP

CNC Machining Center & Lathe Operator

Requirements of position: •Setup and Operation: Prepare and operate CNC machines, including lathes to produce parts from various materials such as metal and plastic. •Programming: Input and adjust CNC programs based on blueprints and specifications, ensuring accurate machining processes. •Quality Control: Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications. •Collaboration: Work closely with other machinists and production staff to optimize workflows and resolve any production issues that arise.

Skills and Qualifications : Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. •Mathematical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry, to calculate dimensions and tolerances.

Experience: Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar role is required. •Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on precision and quality, ensuring that all parts produced meet strict specifications. •Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
