Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with attention to quality and presentation
Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques
Assist in food production processes, maintaining consistency and adhering to recipes and standards
Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during preparation and packaging
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including tools, equipment, and workstations
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer expectations
Support catering events or restaurant service as needed, providing excellent customer service
Experience
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a French bakery environment
Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, and food handling techniques
Experience with food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices
Knowledge of culinary arts related to the food industry, including food preparation, packaging, and presentation
Previous experience in a French bakery is highly desirable
Familiarity with knife skills, food industry equipment, and kitchen safety protocols is essential
Prior work in a fast-paced culinary environment demonstrating excellent customer service skills is preferred
