Retail Store Clerk

Bennett's Up Towne Shoppes is seeking a reliable Retail Store Clerk to provide excellent customer service on weekdays and weekends. This role involves managing cash register transactions, assisting customers, handling Uhaul reservations and vehicle check-ins/outs, and performing light office work as needed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable standing for long periods and adept at multitasking in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Assist customers with inquiries and product information
• Manage Uhaul reservations and vehicle check-ins and check-outs
• Perform basic office tasks and maintain organized records
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently
• Stand for extended periods during shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience
• Proficient with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with basic office software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
