Job Description
Amada Equipment Set Up/Operator (Press Brake, Turret Press, Laser).
Can create or modify bending programs, adjust press brakes/turret presses/lasers, stop production for safety or quality issues.
Responsibilities:
Setup & Programming: Safely set up, program, and adjust Amada RG, HDS Series Press Brakes, Turret Presses, and Lasers for efficient and safe operation.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read engineering prints, work orders, and job travelers to determine setup parameters, critical part features, and operating conditions.
Operation & Maintenance: Operate press brakes, turret punches, and lasers; perform routine maintenance; report equipment issues promptly.
Production Support: Work with operators to ensure proper production tracking; serve as the MIE Trak point person for setup and production times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Amada press brakes, turret presses, and lasers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and setup sheets.
Proficiency with CNC controls.
Strong mechanical aptitude and precision measurement skills.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bend allowances, and tolerances.
