Duties

• Package baked items attractively for retail display or takeout orders.

• Assist customers at the counter by taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly service.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and display areas in compliance with food safety standards.

• Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, portioning, and assembling baked goods.

• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

• Support catering events or special orders as needed, demonstrating flexibility within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pastry arts, baking, or culinary roles within the food industry.

• Strong cake decorating skills with attention to detail and creativity.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.

• Experience in food production, preparation, and packaging in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.

• Previous French bakery experience is advantageous

• Enthusiasm for learning is essential.
