Personal Injury Attorney

Busy Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join the team! 

Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, managing cases from inception through resolution
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their claims and legal options
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies
• Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
• Conduct thorough legal research and gather evidence to support client claims
• Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and staff to ensure case progress

Required Qualifications

• ~1-7 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law or defense attorneys seeking plaintiff-side work
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from a T14 law school
• Law Review experience
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative firm environment
