Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license and ICU experience
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice
- Demonstrated ability in delegating and coordinating team tasks
- Effective communicator, both with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Supervisory or precepting experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with physicians to implement care plans designed for optimal patient outcomes
- Delivering direct bedside care in accordance with medical orders
- Delegating, overseeing, and mentoring support staff, including Nurse Assistants and Patient Care Associates
- Taking a leadership role in patient conferences and planning for discharge/transfer needs
- Precepting or mentoring new nurses and students, supporting a culture of learning
- Maintaining exemplary organizational planning and communication in all aspects of patient care
- Facilitating effective transitions between nursing staff and ensuring proper patient placement
