About the Job
The Warehouse Equipment Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a clean, modern facility with a strong emphasis on safety. This role involves operating material-handling equipment, accurately moving product, and supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks and ride-along pallet jacks
- Perform order picking accurately and efficiently based on pick lists or system instructions
- Support shipping and receiving functions, including loading, unloading, and staging product
- Transport pallets and product safely throughout the warehouse
- Inspect equipment daily and report any safety or maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating reach trucks and ride-along pallet jacks
- Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Strong order picking and inventory handling skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts (3:00 AM start)
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
