Job Description
CT Technologist – Radiology in Hanford, CA. This travel assignment starts on 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay of $2,200-$2,257. There are no guaranteed hours and the schedule is a 3x12 night shift. The assignment takes place in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Operate GE EVO CT Unit to perform diagnostic CT imaging per approved protocols
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position and immobilize as needed; monitor for adverse reactions to contrast
- Review orders, verify patient identity and demographics, and document study results in the radiology information system
- Optimize imaging parameters to maximize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure; perform fluoroscopy if required
- Collaborate with radiology team and referring providers; ensure patient safety and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions or QA concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with patient prep for contrast administration, including allergy checks and hydration orders as per protocol
- Document and communicate imaging findings per department policy; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist license (RT)
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) or ARRT-CT certification required
- GE EVO CT Unit experience required; minimum 2 years CT experience in the CT specialty within the last 3 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred; Venipuncture certification and fluoroscopy license preferred (CA/OR)
