Position Overview:

Performs maintenance assignments as part of a work team involved in the planning, organizing, anddevelopingmaintenance projects.

Specific Duties:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifiesresources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Effectively applies ourmethodologyand enforces project standards.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Utilizes management and interpersonal skills for professional conduct.
  • Successfully manages a moderate to heavy workload of projects requiring technical and practical knowledge;utilizeinsight; good judgment; good interpersonal and management skills on projects of varying levels of difficulty.
  • Establishes standards on projects.
  • Coordinates project scope definitions.
  • Provides code compliance reviews, reports and recommendations for existing conditions and products in the company.
  • Assistsin the preparation of materials for submission to all governmental agencies or governingboards.
  • Ensuresafety and accuracy.
  • Performs other duties asassigned,such as some duties ofmaintenancesupervision.
  • Requiresthe abilityto use and apply extensive knowledge for a specific engineering field.
  • May supervise other project professionals or technicians.
  • Must be trained inSQFMaintenance Program and Maintenance Equipment Schedule
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings withthe projectteam.
  • Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues ina timelyfashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Conducts effective performance evaluations andmentors thosewith less experience through formal channels.
  • Complies withand helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
  • Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues asappropriate.
  • Suggestsareas for improvement in internal processes along withpossible solutions.
  • Identifiesopportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions forchange.

Qualifications:

Education and/orExperience :

High School diploma or GED with experience in relatedfieldpreferred inahigh-volumemanufacturing. Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to meeting internal customer requirements and continuous improvementobjectives.

Language:

Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from personnel inside the company.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists. Ability to interpret instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, diagram, or other form.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize workload, excellent internal customer service skills.

To perform assigneddutiesthe following will occur: Standing onone'sfeet forlong periodsof time, walking, and lifting. The employeeis regularly required tosit, reach with hands andarms;and talk or hear. The employee maybe requiredto lift and/or move up to 50lbson an occasional basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Slips,tripsand falls; Cuts, lacerations, pinches; Amputations; Electrical shock; Strains; Flying debris; Kickbacks from machines. All safety gear must be properlyworn,and all safety rules must be followed toassistin avoiding the above potential injuries. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
