Shift: Monday-Thursday 10 hour shift
Pay Range: $23 to $34 an hour
Required-
- 3+ years operating CN machines (mills and or lathes)
- strong understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
-ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blue prints and manufacturing specs
Preferred-
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001 or other aerospace quality systems
- experience with multi access machining
Machinist Level II
As a Level II Machinist. This position sets-up and runs programs. Machines complex parts as well asweldments and castings.
Essential Functions:
Read and Interpret Blueprints
Perform CNC Warmup Procedures and Basic Preventative Machine Maintenance
Use a variety of measurement tools for complex measurement verifications (Calipers, Micrometers,Indicators, ect.)
Perform Setups, Make Fixtures
G-Code knowledge and Basic Machine Programs Tight Tolerance holding
Perform Tapping, Counter Bores, Countersink and Reaming Holes Some Deburring and Prep for
Inspections
Understand thermal expansion and its effects
Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine
set-ups, operating and loading.
Marginal Functions:
Machine Shop Cleanliness
Manual Machine operations will apply
Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:
Attendance and Dependability: The employee can be depended on to report to work at the scheduled
time and is seldom absent from work. Employee can be depended upon to complete work in a timely,
accurate, thorough manner, and is conscientious about assignments.
Relationships with Others: The employee works effectively and relates well with others Including
superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. The employee exhibits a
professional manner in dealing with others and works, to maintain constructive working
relationships.
Job Related Experience:
Ethics - Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with
