San Francisco Bay Area, CA (San Francisco – Oakland – Hayward)
Role summary. Lead the electrical portion of complex building projects in the Bay Area, including laboratories, universities and high‑rise housing. Duties include power‑distribution and lighting design, equipment sizing, arc‑flash studies, preparation of construction documents and specifications and coordination with mechanical, plumbing and architectural teams. The role requires advanced Revit modelling skills to develop BIM content, perform clash detection and integrate designs with other disciplines. Experience with California energy modeling and Title 24 compliance is important; the job may involve preparing energy calculations and documentation for review by local building officials .
Qualifications.
- PE licensure in California.
- 6+ years of electrical design experience in MEP consulting for commercial or institutional buildings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination, plus familiarity with AutoCAD and lighting analysis tools.
- Deep knowledge of the NEC, California Building Code and energy regulations (Title 24) as well as sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead design teams.
