Junior Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Junior Associate Attorney to join a highly respected national law firm with a strong and growing West Coast litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of complex litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
• Support case strategy development and client communications
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on high-stakes matters

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience at a law firm
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Admission to the Oregon and/or Washington Bar, or willingness to obtain admission

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $215,000 – $250,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
