Job Description
Summary:
A reputable general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent for an active $25M+ high-end commercial project. Approximately 75% of the work remains, including site work, foundation tie-ins, utilities, and luxury interior finishes. This position is ideal for a Superintendent with strong field expertise in tight-site coordination, complex utilities, and premium architectural detailing where precision, professionalism, and client interaction are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily field operations from site work through final completion, ensuring precision and quality
Manage subcontractors, logistics, and material deliveries within a tight, active campus footprint
Oversee ongoing foundation, utility, landscape, and structural scopes in real time
Supervise installation of high-end interiors, millwork, and architectural features per design intent
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite environment
Communicate daily with owners, designers, and vendors to resolve field issues and uphold project goals
Utilize Procore for daily logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists
Partner with the Project Manager on scheduling, forecasting, and project documentation
Support turnover efforts and upcoming campus phases as construction continues
Qualifications:
Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Proven success managing complex site logistics, utilities, and campus environments
Strong knowledge of civil, foundation, and site development coordination
Experience managing high-end interior finishes with zero-punch expectations
Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools (MS Project or equivalent)
Skilled in documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field reporting
Strong leadership and communication skills with a client-facing demeanor
