CDR ProSource is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing company in Paw paw, MI. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented machinist with experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation of mills and lathes. The ideal candidate is responsible, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities
• Program CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting zero reference points, tool registers, and offsets
• Verify calculations using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Set up CNC mills and lathes including chucks, collets, bushings, gears, stops, and related tooling
• Review blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, and specifications to plan machining operations
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Monitor stock inventory and ensure materials are available for production needs
• Perform machining operations such as drilling, turning, grooving, cutting, knurling, and threading
• Take precise measurements and troubleshoot machine or process issues
• Adjust and reprogram machines as needed to maintain quality standards
• Operate precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinate repairs when needed
• Ensure quality control of all finished parts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Experience with CNC programming, setups, tooling, and machine operation

• Must own basic machinist tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Ability to perform physically demanding machining tasks
• Ability to lift moderate weights as required
