Description of the Role

As an Automotive Used Car Manager at Independence Mazda, you will be responsible for overseeing the used car sales department. Your main goal will be to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car sales department
• Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them
• Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals
• Train and onboard new employees
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and wholesalers
• Negotiate trade-ins and purchase of used cars
• Monitor market trends and adjust pricing and inventory accordingly
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience in automotive sales in a managerial role
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the used car market and industry trends
• Proficiency in CRM software
• Valid driver's license
