- Collecting and recording accurate, real-time data on student progress and target behaviors during every session.
- Assisting with functional behavior assessments by observing and documenting specific behavioral occurrences.
- Reporting significant changes in behavior or health to the supervising BCBA and the clinical team.

- Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support the generalization of skills across different environments.
- Ensuring all session notes and documentation meet clinical and regulatory standards for billing and progress tracking.
Qualifications and Requirements

- High school diploma or GED equivalent; some college coursework in psychology or education is preferred.
- Ability to follow complex clinical protocols and take direction from a supervising professional.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and families.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress or crisis situations.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between service sites.
- Successful completion of all required background checks, including criminal history and child abuse clearances.
Working Conditions
- Work occurs in diverse settings, including clinical centers, classrooms, and private family residences.
- The role is physically active and requires the ability to run, jump, kneel, sit on the floor, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be required to implement physical intervention techniques during instances of aggressive or self-injurious behavior.
- Schedules may vary and often include late afternoon or early evening hours to accommodate school-aged individuals
