What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives across mobile and desktop applications. This role will focus on testing strategy development, automation, defect management, and ensuring high-quality releases for geolocation-based products and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and execution of testing strategies for mobile and desktop applications
  • Partner with development and SRE teams to identify quality risks and establish testing requirements
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, QA documentation, and testing processes
  • Perform testing of geolocation functionality, including GPS, Bluetooth, and location-based features
  • Test iOS and Android applications for usability, performance, and edge case scenarios
  • Implement and maintain API test automation to support continuous integration and deployment
  • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with engineering teams on resolution efforts
  • Support compliance and regulatory testing requirements within the gaming and sports betting industry
  • Improve QA processes, quality metrics, and testing efficiency
  • Build and maintain tools for test data management, reporting, and test environments

This is a hybrid position based on the East Coast in the Greater Philadelphia area. No direct supervisory responsibilities were specified for this role.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and web/API testing
  • Strong experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms
  • Experience testing desktop applications and user-facing software
  • Background in the iGaming and/or sports betting industry
  • Hands-on experience with geolocation testing and GPS or beacon technologies
  • Knowledge of mobile testing tools and best practices
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
  • Strong defect management and test case development skills
  • Ability to analyze testing results and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with startup environments, security testing, or performance testing is a plus
