Job Description
A 267-bed hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Cardiac EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Tech). The facility offers an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery services, and a main emergency room alongside a pediatric ER and two freestanding ERs.
The role. Working under general supervision, the EP Technologist prepares patients and equipment and directly assists physicians throughout electrophysiology procedures. The position serves an adult through geriatric patient population, requiring adaptability across a range of clinical presentations and acuity levels. The technologist is responsible for the quality and accuracy of each examination performed and for maintaining a patient-first approach in all aspects of care delivery.
What we're looking for.
- 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required (new graduates will also be considered)
- Associate Degree
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Days with rotating weekends.
Compensation. $29.56 - $40.65/hr
