Certified Forklift Driver

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a powered lift truck. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy by correctly transferring and scanning materials for the shipping area.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain clean and organized work areas and warehouse racks at all times.

- Pull and key products to designated areas as requested by production.

- Load and unload trucks or containers.

- Operate pallet jacks to move orders to the shrink-wrapping machine.

- Scan products between locations or warehouses to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Remove trash, cardboard, plastic, and damaged pallets.

- Report inventory errors in writing to the cycle counter.

- Operate all material handling equipment (forklifts, etc.) in accordance with safety training and guidelines.

- Perform daily forklift inspections.

- Complete receipts for production items as needed.

- Adhere to all company policies and safety rules, and report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.

Requirements & Skills:

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift UP TO 85 lbs for long shifts.

- Equipment Proficiency: Experience with or ability to learn forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

- Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Experience: Previous warehouse order picking experience is preferred.

- Soft Skills: Strong organization, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
