Randy’s Flooring is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator & Interior Designer to join our retail showroom team in Cedar Rapids. This role is ideal for someone who loves sales, design, enjoys working directly with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the selection and sale of flooring and window treatments
- Manage projects from initial consultation through installation and post-install follow-up
- Schedule client meetings, estimates, installations, and service coordination
- Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after the sale
- Maintain strong product knowledge, including materials, applications, promotions, and trends
- Collaborate with installers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on track
- Represent Randy’s Flooring at community events, trade shows, and in-store promotions
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Interest in interior design, current trends, and helping customers bring ideas to life
- Ability to learn technical product details and installation applications
- Positive attitude with a willingness to grow, learn, and develop professionally
- Self-motivated and career-oriented mindset
- 1+ year of retail sales or customer-facing experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Construction, remodeling, or design experience is a plus
- Interior design or decorating background is a bonus, but not required
