Big South Fork Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Oneida, TN is recruiting for full time and Part Time Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical (LPN) for ER and Medsurg units.

Registered Nurse

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

One (1) year in a hospital setting preferred but not required

Newly licensed RNs welcome to apply

RN - Registered Nurse -TN State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required

BCLS - Basic Life Support required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role collaborates with RN, physicians and multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards of care specific to the age and needs of the patient while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

One (1) year in a hospital setting preferred but not required

Newly licensed LPNs welcome to apply

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse -TN State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
