Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct nursing care to progressive surgical, oncology, and palliative care patients in a 24-bed unit.
\n
• Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication regimens.
\n
• Float between units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient care across different departments.
\n
• Execute emergency protocols, including Rapid Response and Code Team activation.
\n
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting system.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including CNAs, care techs, and paramedics.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Current and valid RN license; pending Nebraska license accepted with conditions.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
\n
• Two years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
\n
• Experience with drips and EPIC charting system required.
\n
• Strong critical care and dysrhythmia management skills.
\n
• Willingness to work weekends and two of the three major winter holidays.
\n
