\n\nJob Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU settings.
  • \n
  • Administer and monitor chemotherapy, including titration of drips such as insulin and cardizem.
  • \n
  • Conduct hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
  • \n
  • Maintain clear and precise documentation using EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT/OT, RN case managers, social workers, educators, and dietitians.
  • \n
  • Float to Med/Surg and other Progressive Care Units as needed while ensuring consistent levels of patient care.
  • \n
\n\nQualifications\n
    \n
  • Current RN license with at least 1 year of experience in PCU or Oncology settings.
  • \n
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory; ONS/ONCC certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • \n
  • Chemo certification preferred but not required; training available on-site.
  • \n
  • Proficient in ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring, with training provided as needed.
  • \n
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on providing compassionate care.
  • \n
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse patient populations and respect various religious beliefs.
