Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with options to extend


• Four 10-hour shifts per week or three 12-13 hour shifts per week plus one rotating Saturday each month


• Requires weekly availability - preference for consistent weekly schedule rather than rotating weeks on/weeks off


• All time off requests must be made upfront


• Practice settings include Main OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Endoscopy Center


• Patient population ranges from age 13 through end of life


• Level 1 trauma center environment with a large anesthesia team covering 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 standalone GI center rooms


• EMR system: Epic


• Hospital bed size: 600


• All CRNA scopes of practice required; cases excluded include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks


• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting


• Minimum 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred


• Experience working regularly with ASA 3+ patients preferred


• One year of Academic Medical Center or Level 1 trauma center experience required


• Virginia state license required


• Board certification required


• ACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the AHA


• Must provide 2 full references or contact information for 2 references with submittal


• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
