Were seeking a passionate and driven Contingent (0.0 FTE) Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Whitehall, Michigan. Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE)
  • Specialty: Urgent Care
  • Location: Whitehall, MI
  • Operational hours:Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm
    • 12-hour shifts (8am to 8pm) with some variability possible.
  • Typical procedures:
    • Sprains and strains
    • Stitches
    • Rashes
    • Cold and Flu Symptoms
    • Tooth Pain
    • Sore Throat
    • Pink eye
    • Lower back pain
    • Animal or insect bite
    • Urinary tract infection
    • Ear pain
  • Very busy urgent care with a great team and a variety of patients.

Requirements

  • Provider experience required
  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
