Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide care to patients in a 30-bed unit with Nurse:Patient ratios of 1:4-6 based on acuity.
\n
• Implement and manage care plans for cardiac patients, post-pneumonia, post-cath lab, and others.
\n
• Perform cardiac monitoring and manage cardiac drips, including titration of medications.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including charge nurses and available hospitalists.
\n
• Troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment and monitor telemetry systems.
\n
• Adapt to flexible scheduling and floating requirements as per facility needs.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Current RN license valid for submission.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown/PCU settings.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
\n
• Comfort with cardiac monitoring and interpretation of telemetry.
\n
• Ability to effectively titrate drips such as cardizem, amio, and heparin.
\n
• Ready to fulfill weekend and holiday rotation as needed.
\n
