Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures including HIDA scans, bone scans, and thyroid studies.
  • \n
  • Start and maintain peripheral IVs and ensure proper isolation precautions.
  • \n
  • Manage, store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials according to safety standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • \n
  • Utilize GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment proficiently.
  • \n
  • Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in the Cerner charting system.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience; hospital-based experience preferred.
  • \n
  • Completion of at least one previous travel assignment is required.
  • \n
  • Certification in ARRT N or NMTCB (CNMT) and BLS required.
  • \n
  • Ability to work in stressful and emergency situations with effective communication skills.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine theory, radiation safety practices, and molecular imaging procedures.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in starting and managing IVs, and executing specialized imaging techniques.
