Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide patient care in a dynamic and varied medical-surgical and emergency setting.
\n
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients, ensuring seamless patient flow.
\n
• Titrate medication drips, including insulin, amiodarone, and cardizem, per physician orders.
\n
• Respond efficiently to emergencies, traumas, and code situations.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings using Mindray monitors and MEDITECH EMR.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic care, including floating between MedSurg and ER departments.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Current Registered Nurse license.
\n
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
\n
• Experience in Emergency Department and MedSurg environments with RN to ER floating capabilities.
\n
• Proficient in reading EKG strips and titrating IV medications.
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal staffing and effective direct communication with hospitalists.
\n
• Strong critical thinking skills with adaptability in caring for a diverse patient population, including critical/trauma cases.
\n
