Local: Will accept local travelers and there is no rate difference.
• Shift: Weekends 2x12’s, 1x8’s, plus on-call. MUST be in a callback window of 30 minutes. See below for exact shift details. They do have an on-call room they could stay in when on-call if they want.
o Traveler arrive onsite at 3p Friday for 3p-11p shift
o On-call 11p until Saturday at 7a
o Work Saturday 7a-7p shift
o On-call Saturday 7p until Sunday 7a
o Work Sunday 7a-7p shift
o On-call Sunday 7p until Monday 7a
• Typical Call Average (I asked about how often for an idea): For the entire weekend, we may see 7 call-backs at MAX. Average is 4

 

Must have experience/Skill Set: The Sonographer will be performing various general, vascular, and OB/Gyn for the ED and any STAT in-patient requests. While more infrequent, we do see some OB patients, as we have a separate OB department in our facility. For OB experience, sonographer must be comfortable with OB 1st Trimester, Biophysical profiles, AFI, cord doppler, and growth checks. No OB surveys or Level 2 exams are required for this role. Must have strong computer skillset, is a strong independent worker with the ability to multitask and have had several successful prior travel assignments. A sonographer with experience falling within the 5-15yr range is also preferred.
